పేర్లలో తప్పులు తేడాలు ఉంటే చెప్పండి. భారత ఉపఖండంలోని పక్షుల వివరాలకి గూగుల్‌ బుక్స్‌లో ఉన్న ఈ పుస్తకం పాఆఆత పుస్తకమే కానీ మాలాంటి కొత్త బిచ్చగాళ్ళకి బాగానే పనికొస్తుందనిపించింది. వివిధ భారతీయ భాషల్లో పక్షుల పేర్లకి మాత్రమే ఐతే ఈ వెబ్సైటు బాగుంది.

Please let us know if there are any discrepencies/variations in names. I just came across this book in google books, which seems to be good reference, though a very old one, for birds in Indian subcontinent, especially to newbies like us. Vernacular names of indian birds can be found here.

  2. Thanks Aparna and Ramana! It was at the same location as the last couple of photos (cow and osprey), an old closed down mine site in Lakeland FL, now transformed into a fish management area (Tenoroc Fish Management Area) but an awesome site for birding (one of the gateways for florida birding trail). Since its the breeding season, there were like thousands and thousands of ibises hurrying from every direction to build nests.
